El Paso by Brian Sage Poplin
My cloud study turned into a landscape painting of El Paso's east side. From left to right you might be able to identify the Rio Grande, downtown El Paso, the Franklin Mountains, El Paso's east side streets and neighborhoods, and far off to the north are the Organ Mountains.
I've added a primer page for THE TRAVELER'S TALES as well as pages for those curious about some elements of the story and universe. You can access all of those pages from the dropdown on the top menu or the links on THE TRAVELER'S TALES page.
Yes, there is much more to the book, including a very unique magic system and stellar cast of characters. More to come on that front.
Other site updates include a comprehensive bio on the AUTHOR page. I've also added a newsletter sign up and links to social media on the CONTACT page.
Be seeing you!
As of June 2019, the first draft of The Traveler's Tales is complete at 150,000 words and I truly couldn't be happier with it at this phase in its creation. I also feel much more confident in placing it in the Epic Fantasy genre with some Space Opera or Sci-Fi elements.
I have passed the draft along to my alpha reader. I expect the revision process to take a few months to get the manuscript where I want it, but then, you could have a chance to be one of the first people to read it.
Upon revisions, I will be seeking experienced readers as beta readers. This will be paid (depending on experience) and will require a NDA and the completion of questionnaires. Beta readers, if paid, will also be on a deadline. If you're interested in participating use the contact form under the CONTACT page (menu at top of page) to email me your credentials and reading experience.
